Ok, you know how obsesses I get with shows and how hard it is for me to dump shows even if it starts to suck. Now imagine how I feel when shows I love end or even worse get cancel with no wrapping up the loose ends.
Today I’m going to rant about those so buckle up and let’s go.
The show featured multiple casino employees navigating their lives in the world of Las Vegas. It had crime, it had comedy and it had romance. One of the more memorable faces in it was Josh Duhamel. It’s not like I didn’t see how different the show got but ending it like that was just a slap in the face. We, fans have invested 5 years into watching this show not to mention all the re-watches and re-runs and we will never know what happens after that damn wedding.
2. The Class
Many of you might not know this show since it only got 17 episodes. It started Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sean Maguire and many more. The story centers around 8 old classmates who had lost touch over the years but after a very weird reunion start to re-connect or form completely new relationships with each other. It was fun and fresh with different sets of characters interacting in each episode. It was also canceled. I don’t understand people sometimes…
The detective show got 8 seasons which is not bad at all. The roguishly handsome crime mystery writer Richard Castle joins the NY PD as a consultant and to draw inspiration from the beautiful but stuck up Detective Becket. It was hilarious and entertaining. I loved it. I know the story sometimes just runs its course but I just loved my Castle and I can’t find a substitute!
Another crime mystery that ran for a long time – 12 seasons! FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth /David Boreanaz/ partners up with the anthropologist Temperance Brennan /Emily Deschanel/ and her team of scientists to investigate murder cases where the only things left are bones and rotten flesh. The show was entertaining and dramatic when need be. I think they had unique stories and they shared it in a great way. I wish it didn’t have to end.
Another David Boreanaz show. I love Angel! It was the spin-off of Buffy and it got a much more serious take on the supernatural world of magic and monsters. Angel – a centuries-old vampire opens up a detective agency where he helps out innocents with their supernatural problems. An ensemble of colorful characters helps out and joins him on his quest to become human. It did end a bit abruptly with a cut of episodes after 5 seasons. I wished it ran for longer and maybe wrapped up the story in a different way.
6. The Originals
Yet another vampire spin-off, this time from The Vampire Diaries. The show follows Klaus Michaelson and the rest of his family – the first vampires, the original family. They are trying to take back the control of their old empire – New Orleans while also protecting a miracle baby in the family. It stars Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt, Phoebe Tonkin, Daniel Gillies and more. Unlike all the other shows on this list, this one is still running but its last 5th season is airing this year. I connected better with this one than with TVD and I am very agitated that it’s coming to an end.
This, of course, is just the top of my lists of shows that I wish did not end, so you should be expecting part two coming soon. I would love to know what do you think about these shows and what others would you put on the list. You can use the comment section here or on YouTube, because as you might have guessed – there is video, too! Until next time!
